80/20

I hear that there are some people out there who think, God is punishing them or forsaken them. Just the opposite he wants nothing but the very best for his children, like any parent does. He wants to make sure we have the very best of everything for eternity. Believe me if anyone has ever thought that it would be me. I have always known God has a sense of humor. Oh yeah, he's a funny man. But we think he's punishing us when the truth is we don't agree with it nor are we willing to accept he knows best. A theory I heard on TV., just came into mind but in a different context. Bare with me here, I feel a preach coming on.

80/20, I think most of us are willing to give God control of our lives at the most 80%. But we refuse to give up the other 20%. Why because WE know what's best for us. That 20% is what's missing in our lives so we may live to the fullest. There is no bargaining with God. He rules. Remember God gives us will, he has never forced anyone to be a believer. Yet, our will is what gets in our own way. We disappoint and let ourselves down, when we are unwilling to accept all that God has to offer us. That inner peace and joy that comes from deep within, some of you have met my personal saint my father in law. And will agree with me when I say this man has an inner joy and love that can only be explained by the supernatural.

So, the next time you feel God's letting you down. Look again, who has control of that 20%.
